Simon Dyson won the 2011 Irish Open and was also in the field for the tournament this week at Fota Island Resort, Cork. Dyson is a six-time winner on the European Tour, however, he’s perhaps had the lowest point of his career during the BMW Masters in Shanghai in October 2013. During that tournament, he fixed a ball mark on the line of his putt with his golf ball. The result was a two-month ban, an 18-month suspension and a £30,000 fine.
He has been playing in tournaments for the 2014 season though. In the video above, he gives us an insight into the practice routine of a professional golfer before tournament day as well as some things that he works on and focuses on during his practice. He even gives us some advice and a drill for our own driving range sessions – take a look!
