LPGA Pros at 11-Years Old

One of the biggest stories of this week’s US Women’s Open is 11-year old Lucy Li. Lucy won her age division at the Drive, Chip and Putt Championship at the Masters and qualified for the 2014 US Women’s Open at Pinehurst No. 2 by winning her sectional qualifier at Half Moon Bay by seven strokes! This breaks Lexi Thompson’s record of being the youngest ever to compete in the US Women’s Open at the age of 12 back in 2007.

Lucy will be facing one of the toughest tests in golf at Pinehurst Resort’s No. 2 course. You can hear what Lydia Ko and Paula Creamer have to say about the course during their practice rounds. In the video above, a few of the LPGA’s biggest names reflect on what they were doing at 11-years old. What were you doing at 11? Leave a comment and let us know! We’ll definitely be watching her this week!
