The 114th US Open for the men concluded last night at the famed Pinehurst No.2 and this week, the US Women’s Open will take place on the same course! It was a tough test of golf but Martin Kaymer prevailed in stunning fashion, winning by 8 strokes with a total score of 9-under par.
It will be interesting to see how the best female golfers in the world will do on the same course as the men. However, the women will be playing Pinehurst No.2 at 6,649 yards, much shorter than the 7,495 yards played by the men.
A few LPGA players have already been on site, scouting the course as well as enjoying the Men’s US Open Championship. Take a look at the video above as 2010 US Women’s Open Champion, Paula Creamer, visited the course ahead of time and gave her thoughts on her expectations for the upcoming Major Championship!
