Adam Scott became the first Australian since Greg Norman to become World Number 1 in the Official World Golf Rankings in May 2014. His first week on top, Adam cemented his position by winning the Crowne Plaza Invitational and finishing T4 at the Memorial Tournament (won by Hideki Matsuyama).
In the video above, the PGA of Australia sits down with Scott as he discusses how it felt to wake up as the World Number 1 and what it means to have followed the steps of is idol. He also gives us insight on the US Open at Pinehurst Resort and Country Club’s No. 2 course. After three rounds at the US Open, Scott is T16 at 3-over par and will have a huge mountain to climb in order to catch Martin Kaymer, who is currently 8-under par.
