On the first day of the 114th US Open Championship at Pinehurst No.2, Martin Kaymer blew the field away with a first round score of 5-under 65. But it was Rickie Fowler who stole the show with his attire, wearing a pair of knickers and high argyle socks to pay tribute to the late Payne Stewart!
Other golfers were at the top of their game wardrobe wise, such as the attire Justin Rose and Retief Goosen wore for Ashworth and the Ralph Lauren RLX worn by Luke Donald and Billy Horshel. But the buzz was all about Rickie Fowler and in the process, he might’ve gained a few more fans in the gallery! Playing in the same group as rising stars Jordan Spieth and Hideki Matsuyama, they also sparked a conversation about the game’s future and its youth movement!
Completing Rickie’s outfit was a pair of limited edition PUMA Golf Biofusion Litestyle golf shoes. We’ve featured the PUMA Golf Biofusion golf shoes before and even heard Rickie’s feedback and thoughts on them. It is one of PUMA Golf’s most innovative golf shoes providing the ultimate in performance, comfort and style.
