The 114th US Open Championship is only a few days away and the excitement is certainly building! Much has been made of the restoration by Coore and Crenshaw on Pinehurst No.2 but its famous saucer shaped greens remain more or less unchanged. This will be very challenging for the world’s best players this week, with some players stating that finding the green will be of utmost importance.
Naturally, missing greens will also put more pressure on the players’ short game. In this episode of Callaway Wedgeducation, Director of Instruction and Fitting Randy Peterson takes his Mack Daddy 2 wedge to show us a shot that we’ll probably see a lot of this week at Pinehurst!
