Wolsey is one of the oldest existing clothing companies in the world and a pioneer in premium men’s apparel for sport. With this rich history, they recently announced the re-launch of their iconic Sports Line Sportsman Collection for autumn and winter 2014.
We’ve already featured the Wolsey and Trickers collaborative leather golf shoe, which is part of the Sportsman collection. In addition to golf shoes, performance merino polo’s, base layers and knitwear will also be available in modern and sophisticated, high-performance styling. The theme of the collection is subtle colour pallets with minimal yet strong textural patterns for a clean aesthetic.
Wolsey, with it’s iconic Red Fox logo, has been worn by sporting greats including Peter Allis and Tony Jacklin. For the future, they’ve enlisted European Tour players Robert Rock, Tom Lewis and James Heath to carry on the torch. Tom Lewis recently qualified for the 2014 US Open at Pinehurst Resort’s No. 2 course and will be wearing Wolsey throughout the season’s second Major, representing the company on the world stage and adding another milestone to Wolsey’s already extraordinary heritage.
