It’s finally US Open week as the world’s top golfers embark onto Pinehurst Resort for this year’s second Major Championship! Although Tiger Woods will not play in the 114th US Open Championship, we are sure many of you will be cheering on his rival, Phil Mickelson!
For the first time in history, the Men’s US Open and Women’s US Open will be held on the same course in back to back weeks. Having gone through a restoration in 2011 by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, Pinehurst No.2 will surely provide plenty of challenges to the world’s top golfers.
For the men, the course will be set up to 7,495 yards while for the women, Pinehurst No.2 will play 6,649 yards. Below are the flyover videos of what the best golfers in the world will be facing this week at Pinehurst No.2. We can’t wait until the tournament gets started!
