This is the latest episode of Adidas Golf Innovations featuring host John Brenkus and Dustin Johnson. Together, they test the benefits of the latest evolution in golf spikes called Gripmore Technology. It is a combination of direct-inject cleats and rubber spikeless traction elements in the new Adicross Gripmore Golf Shoe, which we have featured before.
The Adicross Gripmore Golf Shoe was released on June 1, 2014, but already had multiple wins on the PGA Tour including the Heritage Classic by Matt Kuchar and The Players Championship by Martin Kaymer. We had the opportunity to take a close, in-hand look at the new Adicross Gripmore and were very impressed with the sole – they felt like traditional spikes!
