While the PGA Tour and Jack Nicklaus was hosting The Memorial Tournament in Dublin, Ohio, the European Tour was in Sweden for the Nordea Masters.
Local favourite, world number two Henrik Stenson shared the lead after the third round, but found himself needing an eagle on the last hole to win his home title for the first time, however, he would bogey the hole and finished fifth. This would leave Thailand’s Thongchai Jaidee, Scotland’s Stephen Gallacher and France’s Victor Dubuisson in a three way playoff.
The playoff lasted only one hole when Jaidee birdied the 18th hole for his sixth European Tour title. The EurAsia Cup Captain talks about the victory and his play throughout the week in the video above – take a look!
