Ashworth Golf has been primarily known for their casual golf shoe designs, but today, they have taken a step in the traditional direction with the Encinitas collection. The Encinitas is Ashworth Golf’s first wingtip model, inspired by classic footwear, and built to be worn on and off the golf course. Like all Ashworth Golf shoes, the Encinitas feature a lightweight, spikeless outsole, soft midsole and premium leather uppers for maximum comfort as well as a subtle, modern colour detailing. The collection is offered in three colourways: running white/air force blue/new navy, dark brown/tan brown/air force blue, and black/black/air force blue
In addition to the Encinitas collection, Ashworth Golf has also released their first ever cleated golf shoe, the Kingston. The Kingston features a classic saddle design, seven-cleat outsole, leather welt construction and the subtle modern colour accents. The Kingston Collection is offered in three colourways: white/tan brown/bordeaux, white/black/azure, and aluminum/iron/ tour white.
Both shoes are inspired by classic footwear but designed with contemporary styling and modern technology – definitely a classic and elegant look! The Encinitas Collection will retail for USD $200 and the Kingston Collection will retail for USD $150. The classic footwear designs are popular for 2014 – we’ve seen the styling in the Nike Lunar Clayton, ECCO Golf New World Class, FootJoy City Line and the Wolsey x Trickers collaboration.
