Over the past year, there have been new and creative ways to get around the golf course. From Masters Champion Bubba Watson and his hovercraft to the golf board, we are definitely stepping into a new era that’s moving away from the traditional golf cart! Now comes another new idea that Kierland Golf Club at the Westin Kierland Resort and Spa in Scottsdale, AZ, have come and fully embraced. This new idea is the Golf Bike!
The Golf Bike comes with two custom golf bags attached to the rear wheel, allowing it to hold a total of 14 golf clubs. Its rubber tires are wider than those of a standard bike and the diameter of the wheel is smaller as well. This helps with minimizing the impact of the Golf Bike on the golf course.
The company has a background in the cycling profession (Higher Ground Bicycle Co.) and with past experience designing and manufacturing golf products, it has combined its expertise to create a new and innovative way to get around the golf course! Not only will the Golf Bike add fitness and fun to your rounds of golf, we are certain that it will address the infamous slow play factor as well!
