Drones will be a part of our future and it will definitely have a part in the game of golf. We have seen Callaway experiment with a drone at their ECPC (Ely Callaway Performance Center) in Carlsbad, California, capturing unique footages of Ryo Ishikawa. Keegan Bradley also had a run-in with a drone however, his experience may not be as pleasant!
Recently, Golf Digest used a drone to film the 7th hole and practice facility at Pebble Beach. The captured footage was amazingly breathtaking and one can only imagine the possibilities when drones are fully employed for network tournament coverage!
