Defending BMW PGA Champion Matteo Manassero returned to Wentworth Club’s iconic West Course to recreate the shot that won him the biggest title of his career, ahead of the 60th edition of The European Tour’s flagship event from May 22-25.

Last year, Italian sensation Matteo Manassero became the youngest winner of the BMW PGA Championship at Wenthworth Club. Matteo sealed the victory in the fourth playoff hole against Simon Khan when he hit a sensational approach shot into the 18th hole!
Ahead of the 60th edition of The European Tour’s flagship event from May 22-25, Matteo returns to Wentworth Club and invited a few friends to “Beat the Pro” as they aim to recreate his famous shot into the 18th last year!
Promotion are already underway as posters of over-sized players in London have been released and a ‘Performance Putting Challenge’ was held last week at the Duke of York Square on the King’s Road! Excitement is certainly building for London’s biggest golf tournament and we will see if Matteo Manassero will be able to defend his title!
