With a degree from Stanford under her belt, Michelle Wie is now solely focusing on her LPGA career. Results have shown as she’s been one of the most consistent players on the LPGA Tour this year, not finishing out of the Top 16 in any of her eight tournaments! This includes a second place finish at the Kraft Nabisco Championship and a victory in her home state of Hawaii at the LPGA Lotte Championship!
Golfing World recently caught up with Michelle as she reflects back on her victory in Hawaii and shares what her coach David Leadbetter and her have worked on this past off season. The hard work is obviously paying off and Michelle is off to another strong start this week, shooting a 4-under 67 in the first round of the North Texas LPGA Shootout. This currently places her tied second but with a few more rounds to go this weekend, Michelle may very well pull out her second victory of 2014!
