Adidas Golf is a leader in footwear technology and has already released the AdiZero One and PURE 360 golf shoes for 2014. Recently, they’ve showed teasers of a “revolution” – two all new footwear models featuring proprietary gripmore technology, a golf footwear cleat design that combines the performance benefits of spiked and spikeless footwear into one revolutionary technology.
The AdiCross GripMore will utilize 43 gripmore cleats and a total of 243 points of contact for the ultimate combination of versatility and performance. The styling is more sporty and casual with modern aesthetics and colours. It has the look of a casual crossover shoe, but delivers performance that all golfers demand. Justin Rose and other Taylormade Pros have already been seen wearing these golf shoes – and even Matt Kuchar wore these during his win at the RBC Heritage!
Adidas Golf will also be offering the PURE 360 GripMore Sport, featuring a waterproof mesh upper with climaproof, 360WRAP technology and a powerband chassis for increased stability. Unlike the PURE 360 golf shoe, which has a more traditional golf shoe look, the PURE 360 GripMore Sport has a more sporty and athletic design. It features 23 gripmore cleats and a total of 161 contact points for high performance traction.
Both the adicross gripmore and pure 360 gripmore sport will be available on June 1, 2014 at a price of $150 and $130 USD respectively! Will you be picking up a pair of these shoes for 2014?
