The main scoring clubs in your golf bag are your wedges and it is very important to get a correct setup for your playing conditions. As Roger Cleveland revealed, many players adjusted their wedges ahead of this week’s Masters at Augusta! Nike Golf has always been an innovative company and their lineup for the 2014 season, which includes the second generation of a cavity back driver, is evidence of that.
Among one of the new Nike products for 2014 is the new VR X3X Toe Sweep Wedge. This new wedge took approximately 5 years of development, gathering input not only from the engineering team at Nike Golf but also the Tour players themselves! What makes the VR X3X Toe Sweep Wedge so unique is that the heel of the wedge has been taken off, enabling the club to sit really tight around the greens.
However, this is not a one-dimensional tool as it is very balanced in terms of performance in the bunkers as well as chipping around the greens. Take a look at the video above as Michael Taylor of Nike Golf explains the development and performance of the new VR X3X Toe Sweep Wedge!
