Adam Scott became the first Australian to win the Green Jacket last year. Before he begins his defense at Augusta though, he will be hosting the Champions Dinner for all previous winners of The Masters. The menu tonight will feature an Australian themed barbecue, but nothing exotic like kangaroo – mainly a lot of surf and turf! Steaks and Moreton Bay bugs, a species of shovel-nosed lobster found in the Pacific and Indian Oceans will definitely be on the menu, as well as a fine collection of wines.
For dessert, he has planned to serve his mother’s pavlova – a meringue-based dessert – as part of the meal! Adam said he would’ve liked to have add meat pies to the menu, but he’ll leave that for the future if he were to win again – maybe next year if he can defend his title this week!
