This year marked the beginning of a new team tournament between Team Europe and Team Asia, the EurAsia Cup! It was held at Glenmarie Golf and Country Club in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from March 27 to March 29. It was definitely an unforgettable tournament as the first day saw Team Europe go ahead 5-0 in points and adding to the lead after day 2 as they were ahead 7-3.
However, Team Asia came back with a fury on the last day, forcing a tie in the inaugural EurAsia Cup and making a mark in Asia golf! The EurAsia Cup has a bright future and with the continued growth of the game in Asia, more exciting and competitive tournaments are certainly ahead of us!
