The Black Knight, Mr. Gary Player is known not just for his magnificent golfing career, but also his dedication to fitness. Despite being 78 years old, he has the energy of a 28 year old and was even featured last year in the ESPN Body Issue. He really started the movement of fitness on the PGA Tour – he’s even considered one of the all time top-10 fittest players on Tour!
He always takes the opportunity to discuss the important of fitness, not just for the sport of golf, but for people’s lives in general. We’ve recently seen Mr. Player gives us some exercise tips in the PGA Tour’s Flavor of the Tour episode and in this episode of Morning Drive, he shows off some more of his fitness techniques that can not only improve your golf game, but improve your overall health.
