Callaway Apparel Japan offers some of the most unique apparel in the golf world – we’ve featured many of their collections including the spring/summer and autumn/winter 2013 collections and their latest Red Label Collection. Similar to much of their clothing, the new shoes for 2014 are bold – they’re offered in pure red, pure white or a white/navy design. We’ve seen the heritage-inspired golf shoe designs from many companies this year including the Nike Golf Lunar Clayton as well as the FootJoy City collection – Callaway Apparel continues with this trend.
These new shoes feature a Vibram Sole, a super light golf sole from a world leader in high performance rubber soles and compounds. Champ Spikes are used in the sole to provide golfers with the best in traction and stability throughout their golf swing. From the photos above, the Champ ScorpionSTINGER spikes are used – they are non-clogging and made with a soft durometer TPU for superior comfort and durability. Primary spring-flex traction elements provide optimum gripping ability and a green friendly design minimizes marks on the green. As a company, Champ is a world leader in sport cleat technology. Finally, a special insole is used to keep golfers comfortable throughout their round of golf.
These new 2014 golf shoes by Callaway Apparel’s Collection Line are definitely designed to the highest standard and not only look good on the course, but off the course as well without sacrificing performance. These retail in Japan only for $28,000 YEN or roughly $275 USD.
