Since 26 year old Australian Jason Day won the WGC Accenture Match Play a few weeks ago, Jason has been unable to keep his good roll going, withdrawing from the WGC Caillac Championship as well as this weeks Arnold Palmer Invitation at Bay Hill. His withdrawals are due to a thumb injury which Jason already felt discomfort during the WGC Match Play. Fortunately, an MRI done on his thumb revealed no damage.
With the Masters coming up soon, Jason hopes to get back to playing soon. After winning the WGC Accenture Match Play over Victor Dubuisson of France on 23rd hole, Jason reflects back on the match with Victor in this Golfing World’s Player Profile! With a great start to the year and two top-3 finishes in the past three years at the Masters, perhaps Jason Day will become a Major Champion before this year’s end!
