Graeme McDowell is playing some solid golf since the beginning of the year. Since January 2014, McDowell finished T7 at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, T5 at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship, T46 at the Honda Classic and T9 at the WGC-Cadillac Championship.
He’s in the field this week at the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill, finishing the first round with a 4-under 68. Hear from McDowell as he speaks to BBC Sport about his year so far and his goals for the rest of 2014. This year, he’ll be focusing primarily on the four Majors, hopefully peaking at the right time, as well as the FedEx Cup and the Ryder Cup. He’ll be heading to Malaysia soon for the inaugural EurAsia Cup, another team event with competitive match play to keep his game sharp before Augusta!
