We are all aware the amount of impact that technology has on the game of golf. TrackMan is one of the main game changers and they have recently released a series explaining the fundamentals of using this technology. Kevin Streelman was the first guest as they explored the attack angle of his swing to maximize distance! In this segment, TrackMan looks at the smash factor with defending PGA Champion, Jason Dufner!
Smash factor is calculated by dividing the ball speed by the club speed generated by your swing. In essence, this looks at the swing’s efficiency by looking at the speed that you’re putting in with your club and the speed that you’re getting out with the ball. Watch the difference in Jason’s smash factor as they experiment and hit the ball on different areas of the clubface!
