Charitable giving is one of the main goals of the PGA Tour as an organization as well as for their members. Professional golfers are some of the most giving athletes – Tiger Woods has his Tiger Woods Foundation, as does Rory McIlroy and the Rory Foundation and Japanese star Ryo Ishikawa even donated all of his winnings the year following the massive tsunami in Japan.
Ian Poulter is also a huge philanthropist – before the 2014 Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill, Poulter hosted his third Charity Classic at his home course in Lake Nona, Florida, raising money for Dreamflight Children’s charity. Similar to Graeme McDowell and the G-Mac Foundation, the Ian Poulter Charity Classic works together with Dreamflight to bring children from the United Kingdom over to Orlando for a trip of a lifetime! Take a look at the two feature videos above and hear more Ian Poulter himself about giving back and helping those in need.
