Earlier in the month, we featured a local amateur tour in the VRGA (Vancouver Recreational Golf Association) whose aim is to “Connect Vancouver through the Game of Golf!” Now comes a tour based in Jacksonville, Florida that’s expanding quickly and is also doing its part in growing the game!
The Hurricane Golf Tour originally started with its Junior Tour in 2008, open to players from ages 11-18. With it success came rapid expansion and the Hurricane Tour was able to start the Collegiate Tour (ages 18-23) in 2011 and this year in May 2014, the Hurricane Amateur Tour (all ages and skill level)! All three tours have something different to offer to its golfers, from playing across different states on premier golf courses to competing in 36 hole tournaments!
Regardless of which Tour you are participating in, Hurricane Golf Tour’s main focus is to “provide first-class experience to all of its members! With nothing else to worry about except the golf, your focus should be competing to the best of your ability and “Experience The Hurricane Difference” to its fullest!
