Adidas Golf is one of the most innovative companies in the industry and has a series of videos called Adidas Golf Innovations to explain their products to consumers. Episode 1 saw Jason Day and host John Brenkus go through a series of tests to see how cold weather can affect a golfers’ performance and how climawarm+ technology can help a golfer. The average golfer walks over 12,000 steps through an 18 hole round of golf and in this episode, a series of experiments aim to determine just how much comfort impacts a golfer’s performance. It seems to be the year for golf shoes in 2014 as we’ve seen many other new shoes as well such as the Footjoy DNA, Puma Golf Litestyle and smaller companies such as G/FORE’s Gallivanter, Kankura Golf and Justin Golf.
