Paula Creamer: HSBC Women’s Champion

The LPGA’s HSBC Women’s Championship was held at The Serapong Course at Sentosa Golf Club and what a tournament it turned out to be! Entering the final day, many of the LPGA’s biggest stars were near the top of the leaderboard including Karrie Webb, Michelle Wie, Inbee Park, Na Yeon Choi, Lydia Ko, Azahara Munoz and eventual winner, Paula Creamer! Creamer would sink a 75-foot eagle putt on the second playoff hole against Azahara Munoz to win the HSBC Women’s Champions for her first LPGA title since the 2010 US Women’s Open!

It was a putt she “practiced” at the Golf.com office before though, but this one was probably much more satisfying! The emotion she had went the putt dropped for the win was priceless! Watch the winning putt in the video above – unbelievable!

She finished third at this tournament in Singapore last year and also tied for third twice to start her season – she is definitely playing some high level golf right now! We were lucky to see her play in person at the 2010 CN Canadian Women’s Open at the Vancouver Golf Club and wish her continued success in 2014! Hear what she had to say as she relives one of the greatest finishes in her career and tells her story of inner strength and what it takes to be a real champion:
