Dustin Johnson is one of the most gifted athletes and fittest players on the PGA Tour. He is one of the leaders in the next generation of young and talented golfers who expect to win, and win multiple times. His latest victory at the WGC-HSBC Champions in November 2013 was his eighth career win, becoming the first player since Tiger Woods to win in seven consecutive seasons straight out of college!
He’s also had his close calls at Major championships – who can forget the “bunker shot” that kept him out of the playoff at Whistling Straits during the 2010 PGA Championship or the US Open at Pebble Beach where he gave up a three-shot lead on Sunday. He was even close at the 2011 Open Championship before hitting an out-of-bounds second on the 14th at Royal St. George’s as he was closing in on Darren Clarke and even led the Masters last year at one point.
