This year, Callaway went back to their roots with the return of the Big Bertha driver. Aside from its flagship product, Callaway’s marketing also focused on its two new line of golf balls, the Supersoft and the Speed Regime. In addition to its new innovative products, Callaway also made a splash in the golfing world this year by announcing the new members of their team and there are definitely some very recognizable names on that list!
Yesterday, Callaway announced their new lines of golf bags for 2014, the Org series cart bags and the Fusion 14! The Org series cart bags come in a 14 or 15 way top, allowing individual spots for each club or one extra slot for a club you may be testing. In the Org 14, there are 11 pockets for storage while the Org 15 offers slight more storage with 13 pockets as well as upgraded premium fabric. Both of these bags have large cooler pockets, allowing you to store cold beverages during your rounds and multiple valuable pockets as well! The Org series cart bags is definitely something that can carry everything you need on a golf course!
If you opt for a stand bag, the Fusion 14 from Callaway offers the ultimate club organization with its 14 way top. Although it’s a stand bag, it still offers plenty of storage with 9 full pockets, valuable pockets, a cooler pocket and a big apparel pocket! The Fusion 14 also features an extra traction base system for when you place your bag on the ground or if you decide to use a cart, the removable strap system offers an extra convenience as well. Although there were reports that Callaway was susceptible to being bought out by its competitors or private equity firms, it seems the company is doing everything it can to stand on its own two feet!
