The Ping S55 irons made its debut at the FedEx Cup’s first playoff event, the Barclays Championship at Liberty National! Bubba Watson added input to the development of the S55 irons and with initial testing, Hunter Mahan has been hitting the ball longer and higher, and was quoted as saying “the S55 feels softer.” With improved technology and pleasing aesthetics, its appeal to customers are high, including one Matthew Elfritz, who ordered a set of custom Ping S55 irons recently! Ping took this opportunity to showcase the process of building these irons for their customers and as you can see, a lot of manpower, detail and attention are allocated to these Ping irons!
