We featured the spring and summer 2014 collection from Adidas Golf Style Japan yesterday, which consisted of a sporty look with bold colours. In this post, we’re featuring the more traditional and heritage-inspired Ashworth Japan spring and summer 2014 collection. Although Adidas Golf Style Japan and Ashworth Japan are both companies under Adidas, they represent two unique styles of clothing.
Instead of the sportier look of Adidas Golf Style Japan or even other brands such as Nike Golf, RLX Golf or J. Lindeberg, Ashworth Japan uses the heritage of the game as an inspiration for their designs. They are much more in line of other companies such as Maide Golf and even the classic looking Jones Golf Bag.
As you can see from the photos above, the Ashworth Japan collection still offers solid bold colours as well as some more subtle colours. Striped, checkered and plaid patterns are also used and the use of the argyle pattern also helps give the pieces a more classic look. However, even though the look is classic, the fitting of these clothes are modern and athletic. The fashion evolution of golf has seem to come full circle these days with modern technology and fabrics combined with classic, heritage designs. Make sure to see the whole Ashworth Japan spring and summer 2014 lookbook and leave a comment and let us know what you think of the collection!
