Japan is one of the most fashion forward and stylish countries in the world. They offer some of the most trendy and unique items in every industry and aim to create the finest products, particularly in the golf industry. This can be seen in the care and precision that company’s put into manufacturing their golf clubs – just take a look at Mizuno’s grain flow forgining process, the Miura forging factory and the putter modifications by Masayuki Sasaya of Gold’s Factory. We’ve featured other Japanese branded golf clubs before as well including the Dunlop XXIO 8, Callaway Legacy Black irons and drivers, Taylormade Gloire drivers, Mizuno Yoro Japan Crafted irons and more.
Care and uniqueness is not only meant for golf clubs, but also golf accessories. It’s about golf fashion and standing out from the crowd and this is what the Framewalker Caddy Bag collaboration by Mizuno Japan and 241.CO is all about. 241.CO is one of the leading jean makers in Japan – we’ve featured their previous collaboration with Mizuno Japan before, but this year, the designs feature a plaid patchwork feature or paint splatter feature. The Framewalker bag was first designed and manufactured as a jean first before shaping the material as a golf bag. In terms of design, the frame of the bag is totally visible from the outside for a very unique look.
In addition to the Framewalker caddy bag, this collaboration also offers a Boston Bag, Round Bag and Ball Pouches as well. 241 CO. owner Eiichi Fujii wanted to combine his passion for the clothing industry with his love for golf, which lead to this collaboration and what a result! You’ll definitely stand out on the golf course with this bag!
Although it is a very distinctive collection of items, the Framewalker Caddy Bag is probably more fashion than function as it weighs 3.5kg (around 7.7 pounds) and costs 69,300 yen (nearly $700!). It is still a very nice bag that we would still love to have though! If the jean construction is not your style, you can see the other collaborations from Mizuno Japan with Kinoshohampu and Porter Co.
