We’ve featured the Mizuno JPX EZ line of equipment a while ago. The JPX EZ golf clubs are considered game improvement clubs, designed for the passionate and aggressive player on the golf course. However, players of all levels can put these in the bag – even Luke Donald had a JPX EZ hybrid in his bag at his latest win at the Dunlop Phoenix Open in Japan. They will be the centre of attention for Mizuno’s 2014 Play Famously campaign too! Hear from Mizuno’s Chris Voshall in the video above and find out how the JPX EZ fairway woods and hybrids can help your game!
Fairway Woods
The JPX EZ fairway wood features a deeper, more substantial face and stretch out back that hugs low to the ground to create the low, deep weighting necessary for high flight from the turf. The large size of these fairway woods are backed up with a Flex Crown design, meant to maintain high ball speeds and consistent distance from off-centre hits.
Hybrids
The JPX EZ hybrids have made the Golf Digest 2014 Hybrid hot list with a silver distinction. Similar to the fairway woods, the hybrids also have a large, deep club head with an extended, low slung back. This provides the deep weighting needed for steep, fast stopping landing angles. Crisp, clean ball striking is promoted through a face forward design that allows the leading edge to slide between the ball and turf. The hybrids are also backed with the Flex Crown design.
