It’s Super Bowl eve and tomorrow, the Seattle Seahawks will take on Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII! One of the stars on the Seahawks is cornerback Richard Sherman, who caught the golf bug last summer during charity events ran by teammates Kam Chancellor and Brandon Browner. Having struggled in those charity events, the competitive Richard Sherman decided to take lessons to work on his golf game!
As seen in video above (2:10 mark if you want to skip Richard getting his hair done), Richard and golf instructor Teresa Caluori worked on his game at Maplewood Golf Course. It was not long before they hooked up again at Fairwood Golf and Country Club and this time, Richard brought his cousin along to “show off” his own game! There was definitely an improvement in Richard’s swing however, showing off may be a bit overzealous!
We understand that golf is not an easy game and regardless of your athleticism, even if you are Lebron James, improving is really a process. Perhaps Richard can ask fellow Stanford alumni Tiger Woods for some golf tips! It looks like Richard may already be trying to get on Tiger’s good side by having “Frank” as his headcover! But first things first, Richard and the Seattle Seahawks has the Super Bowl to win! SEA-HAWKS!
