We’ve all heard about the concept of Loft Up by Taylormade over the past couple of months. Basically, with such a low and forward centre of gravity on the SLDR and SLDR 430 drivers, lofting up will help golfers gain more distance with less spin – you can see the Science of Loft Up here and even hear from renowned golf instructor, Hank Haney on the concept.
This past week, Taylormade held a Loft Up event prior to the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines, with Justin Leonard and Lucas Glover, that really explained and educated the golfing public about the concept of Loft Up. In the video (and picture) above, you can hear from some of the Taylormade tour staff about Loft Up and the amount of loft they have added onto their drivers!
