Day 2 of the PGA Show concluded today and we got to see even more innovative products in the world of golf. We’ve put up a quick highlight of day 1 of the PGA Show yesterday featuring some of the bigger companies such as Callaway, Taylormade and Titleist and above, you’ll see day 2 highlights from PING Golf. Aside from the major companies in golf, we also got to see some really cool and trendy products, training aids and apps.
The first product that has seen a lot of popularity at the PGA Show this year is the Golf Board, which we have already featured last month! It’s definitely an innovative and fun way to play the sport of golf and to get through a round. You can find out more about the Golf Board in our previous post, but make sure to check out the video above where they tested the Golf Board at Chambers Bay Golf Course, host of the 2015 US Open!
Another product aimed to help make a golfer’s round easier is the Big Max Blade. It is the world’s only fold flat cart and folds less than 4 inches thin and designed and engineered in Germany by Big Max, Europe’s leading golf trolley brand. In addition to a slim and lightweight design, it is still very functional with two holders that can be used to hold umbrellas or GPS devices, an exterior score card holder, interior box for miscellaneous items, magnetic ball marker, pencil holder, two golf ball holders and a bottle holder! Another exciting product that is getting a lot of buzz at the PGA Show is the GAME GOLF application, which we featured back in July, and is endorsed by Graeme McDowell and Lee Westwood. GAME GOLF is a non-intrusive data collector during your round of golf so you capture statistics, trends and allows you to review your game and improve. Not only this, but you can also share this data with friends for friendly competition thus, making the app and the sport of golf even more social! G/FORE Golf is a colourful company offering a range of golf gloves and shoes in as many colours as you can imagine! It’s a great way to add some colour to your golfing outfits if you’re feeling a little conservative and don’t want to look like Rickie Fowler on a Sunday afternoon. There is even an option to customize your gloves and select your own colour preferences in sections of the glove – very cool! We’ll be sure to feature G/FORE a little more closely as well in the next couple of weeks. Other apparel items we noticed were FootJoy’s new City Shoe line, clothing from Italian company Colmar and a very cool looking shoe by Heaven Golf.
We also saw very cool custom phone cases by Pukka Inc. featuring some of the most famous holes in golf – a great way to show your love for the game!
