The PGA Tour has their season ending FedEx Cup playoffs while the European Tour has their “Race to Dubai.” Yesterday, the LPGA Tour announced a new points race system known as the “Race to the CME Globe!” Points will be awarded in 31 LPGA events leading up to the CME Group Tour Championship held from November 20-23 in Naples, Florida. For the final event, the points will be reset and the winner will receive $1 million!
To promote the new “Race to the CME Globe,” LPGA stars Lexi Thompson and Brittany Lincicome made guest appearances on NBC’s Today Show. Aside from making the exciting announcement, Lexi and Brittany also gave Kathie Lee and Hoda, the hosts of NBC’s Today Show, a putting lesson. Take a look to see their teaching skills in action!
