Adam Scott has only been sponsored by UNIQLO since the beginning of the 2013 season, but what a run it’s been for both Adam and UNIQLO. Adam Scott had an amazing 2013 season – he was the first Australian to ever win the Masters, he won the Barclays Championship, the Grand Slam of Golf and also won the Australian PGA Championship, the World Cup of Golf with Jason Day and the Australian Masters. Unfortunately though, he finished second to Rory McIlroy at the Australian Open and wasn’t able to capture the Australian Triple Crown. This great season gave UNIQLO a good opportunity to make some cool videos featuring Adam Scott including a recent conversation and the “Perfect Swing” video you see above!
The video above is a promotion for UNIQLO’s “Extend the Season” campaign, focusing on cooler autumn and winter temperatures. On the website, UNIQLO asks Adam how he prepares and maintains a high level of play throughout a season. His answer was to do the preparations needed for a tournament and have a clear head when playing, following his preparations and game plan. When the weather gets cooler, Adam ensures that he has the clothing to keep himself warm but also giving him the freedom and flexibility to make a golf swing without feeling constrained – this is what the “Extend the Season” campaign is all about! Keeping athletes warm while allowing them perform at the highest level. Just take a look at Adam Scott’s “perfect swing” in the video above… it’s a video that reminds us of another “perfect swing” below!
