Each year, the winner of the past year’s Masters Tournament gets to select the menu for the Champions Dinner. Although 2010 Open Champion Louis Oothuizen has not won the Masters tournament yet, his fellow countryman Charl Schwartzel won in 2011! With his victory, Charl had the privilege to select the menu for the 2012 Champions Dinner and it consisted of a traditional South African BBQ, also known as a braai! The main course of the braai included lamb chops, steaks and South African sausages. In the video above, Louis Oothuizen invites a few guests over and shares the tradition and importance that a braai is to a South African!
