While the PGA Tour and European Tour spent time hosting tournaments in Asia, Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy found some time to head to the southern Chinese island of Hainan for a head to head exhibition match at Mission Hills Haikou. This exhibition match definitely helps to grow the sport of golf in China, a country that is already looking towards the 2016 and future Olympics and training young players in a quest for global golf domination.
