The Black Knight, Mr. Gary Player, has always been a strong advocate of fitness. Also known as Mr. Fitness, Mr. Player became the oldest athlete to be featured in this year’s ESPN Body Issue magazine! Although Tiger Woods is most commonly known for revolutionizing the sport of golf with his fitness regiment, one might argue that it was Mr. Gary Player who was the pioneer of bringing fitness to the game! Visionaries presented by Visionworks looked at a few golf figures who changed the game of golf and you can bet that both Mr. Player and Tiger were featured in it!
In this week’s Callaway Office Tip of the Week, Mr. Gary Player makes a guest appearance with Callaway’s Matt Haneline to teach us how to gain distance with our golf shots! Although Mr. Player turned 78 years young yesterday (November 1), his dedication to fitness ensures he remain strong for the rest of his life. This strength enables him to hit the ball with power despite being a man of smaller stature. Aside from being strong, you must also have the proper technique and Mr. Player goes over that with us in this weeks Office Tip of the Week!
