We’ve featured the Physics of the Golf Club in the first segment of Science of Golf we featured. This time, the USGA, NBC Learn and Chevron have teamed up to discuss the evolution of the golf ball from the beginnings of the game to modern day.
There is a lot of technology that goes into a golf ball as this video discusses and we got to see first hand the evolution of one of the most popular golf balls on Tour, the Titleist Pro V1, as Billy Horschel took us behind the scenes at the Pro V1 manufacturing plant. With so much technology in the one piece of equipment that is used on every shot a golfer plays, it’s important to pick the right golf ball for you – just ask Jason Dufner! And make sure to keep your golf balls away from thieves on the golf course, especially against sneaky foxes!
