The brand new system for players of retaining or attaining their PGA Tour cards concluded a few weeks ago at the Web.com Tour Finals. This new system includes a 4 week, 4 event system based on money earnings and includes some notable names including Japan’s Ryo Ishikawa, South Korea’s Seung Yul Noh (who won the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship), Patrick Cantlay and Trevor Immelman. Sean O’Hair, who we watched win the 2011 RBC Canadian Open at Shaugnessy Golf Club in Vancouver, was also competing in the Web.com Finals and was able to retain his card.
In total, 50 PGA Tour cards have been given out and the golfers who have earned their cards will be eligible to being their 2013-14 PGA Tour season this week at the Frys.com Open in California! Take a look at some of the player profile videos below of some of the stars we’ve mentioned above!
