Golf is a beautiful game but often it is under-appreciated! However, there is not one game that is so universal where it attracts people of all ages and various backgrounds! As we have featured in previous posts, hockey players are big time golfers (and even big time caddies!) and with the upcoming Big Break NFL, so are football players! From the “Miracle on Grass” this past summer to Anaheim Duck’s Teemu Selanne filming a golf skit to announce his return to hockey, these are just two examples of hockey players being involved in the game of golf! We’ve also seen a lot of NBA superstars playing golf over their off-season as well, and even movie stars with “golf clauses” in their contracts!
Golf technology has even made it to hockey with the CCM RBZ hockey stick! Recently, Golf Digest has a list of the NHL’s most notable golfers!
