One of the world’s best golfer Rory McIlroy grew up in Northern Ireland and is a die-hard Manchester United fan. In a promotional event for their mutual sponsor Nike, Rory had the opportunity to kick around a soccer ball with Man-U’s star, Wayne Rooney! Just like the Rory’s first Nike commercial with Tiger Woods, there is a lot of star power in the new Nike ad. The ad has yet to air but a few pictures were taken of Rory and Wayne during the filming session! It seems that Wayne was seen booting a soccer ball up and down the links though, perhaps similar to the new sport of Footgolf? Regardless, we are looking forward to seeing how this Nike ad turns out!
