In this week’s Callaway Office Tips, Chief Club Designer Roger Cleveland makes an appearance to give us a tip that many viewers have been asking about for the last few weeks! This question is,”how to hit a 40 yard pitch shot that takes one hop and stop?” For this shot, Roger suggests using the most lofted club in your bag. The more loft the club, the more spin it creates. Getting steep on the shot and hitting down on the ball is essential and with the sole and bounce on the club, there won’t be any worries bout the club digging into the ground! This is quite different from how Zach Johnson would approach a 40 yard shot but that’s the beauty of golf. There are many ways to get the ball to the hole, it just depends on your creativity! On a side note, what’s with the rabbit in the background of the video?
