With the conclusion of the FedEx Cup and the 2013 PGA TOUR season, we are looking forward to the 10th President’s Cup at Muirfield Village in Dublin, Ohio in 2 weeks time! 24 of the world’s best players will represent Team USA and Team International in a four day competition featuring 34 matches, including Thursday Foursomes, Friday four-ball, Saturday foursomes and four-ball and Sunday singles. Both teams feature many players who competed at the TOUR Championship this year, including PGA TOUR rookie Jordan Spieth, the youngest President’s Cup participant ever, but it’s Team USA that may hold an advantage, having an overall record of 7-1-1 in the history of the President’s Cup.
The most interesting storyline might be Jason Day who resides in Ohio with his family and often frequents Muirfield Village – he’s not sure whether his family will root for him or against him in such a competition!
