Steve Stricker Tours the New Titleist Tour Van
Brand Ambassador Steve Stricker recently had a chance to check out the new Titleist Tour Van. And Golf Channel captured the tour, as Titleist's Senior Technical Representative for PGA Tour Dave Southworth, showed Strick the new "home away from home".Now, to call it a "van" would be a little bit of an understatement, as the new 18-wheeler is 42 feet long, 8 feet 6 inches wide, and weighs 36 tons when fully loaded. The new trailer accommodates the needs of the 10-person Tour Leadership Team that services up to 40 full product line players a week. Titleist Brand Ambassador Steve Stricker takes a quick Tour with us to check out the new Titleist Tour Van – this is really a Tour player’s “home away from home!” To call it a “van” is really an understatement – this is a brand new 18-wheeler that is 42 feet long, 8 feet 6 inches wide and weights 36 tons when fully loaded! It also features four “pop-outs” that will extend the width to 15 feet 6 inches for a total of 650 square feet of working space – nearly 30 percent more than the previous Tour Van! It will accommodate a team of 10 staff that will service up to 40 full produce line players per week on Tour.
