The FedEx Cup Playoffs has taken a week off and allowed the top 70 players that have gotten to the third leg of the playoffs to take a break. During this break, we were lucky to be treated to a great Walker Cup Match between Team USA and Team Great Britain and Ireland at National Golf Links of America. Our focus now shifts back to the PGA Tour and the FedEx Cup Playoffs as the 2013 BMW Championship is set to being at Conway Farms Golf Club in Illinois. The top 30 in this tournament will get to play at the season finale Tour Championship.
We’ve already seen commercials for the 2014 BMW Championship, but let’s also take a look at a recap of the 2012 BMW Championship which was named “Tournament of the Year” by the PGA Tour. It was won by Rory McIlroy as his second consecutive win during the Playoffs last year. Will Rory be a factor this year? Let us know below!
